The facilities that houses them needs to be well managed or it could be a potential haven for illegal squatters and activities. The maximum capacity for 1-1 matching for this system is about 5000 users which is sufficient for most dormitories. Workers will flash their Card and enroll their faces at the turnstile itself. The biometric data is then downloaded and collected on a central biometric database repository. The extracted biometric templates is also synchronized with the rest of the turnstiles after enrollment. During verification, the worker just needs to walk up to the turnstile, position his face properly and he will be verified almost instant. Facial biometrics is used here as most workers have very dry or bad fingerprints. Sometimes, when back from work, their fingers could be badly smudged with dirt, grease.
